Memphis Grizzlies practicing together in spite of lockout
Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley organized a mini-camp this week in Memphis that has many of his teammates playing and practicing together for the first time since the playoff run ended in May.
The Commercial Appeal reports that Conley, with the help of Rudy Gay, contacted everyone on the roster. Teammates participating include: Conley, Gay, Tony Allen, O.J. Mayo, Zach Randolph, Xavier Henry, Sam Young, Ish Smith and 2011 second-round draft pick Josh Selby.
Terms of the NBA lockout restrict the players from using FedExForum facilities. The report did not state what gym the players were using.
