| Zags to host Huskies in Seattle
Gonzaga will host Connecticut in the sixth annual Battle in Seattle basketball game on Dec. 20 at KeyArena.
Connecticut is led by Big East defensive player of the year Hasheem Thabeet, the top returnee from a team that won 24 games last season. The Huskies return all five starters and their top six scorers.
Gonzaga returns six of their top seven scorers from the team that won 25 games. That includes senior guard Jeremy Pargo, the West Coast Conference player of the year.
The two teams last played last Dec. 1 in Boston, with the Zags winning 85-82.
